| Essequibo ranks have pulled in three persons for questioning, following the discovery of a 9 mm pistol, on Monday at Charity. The reports state that a male Italian, a Venezuelan woman and a male Guyanese, were arrested yesterday morning at Grant Buxton, Pomeroon River.According to information, the three were apprehended after the Italian man, reportedly told police officers at Charity that the Venezuelan woman had fleeced him of an undisclosed sum of money. The police later found the gun in the woman’s suitcase.Kaieteur News understands that both the Venezuelan woman and Italian who are friends, were staying at the Purple Heart hotel in Charity on Saturday.
